    Feeding dubia.
So we started a colony and after 2 months now we have enough to feed from. Nala ate 3 a week ago and will not eat any more. I went to petco and bought 30 Crix and she tore them all up. Does she just not like the roaches? Will she ever? How do I make the switch?

Kind of strange, all of our animals pound dubias like no tomarrow, of course this is all we feed. You could just stop feeding her the crickets and offer dubia from the tongs. Dubia do not move as much as crickets and produce a lower signature to the animals so this might be the problem.

I would say to just keep offering dubia until they get used to them and start taking them.

I agree with what has already been said, also make sure you put them in a feeding dish otherwise they tend to disappear under stuff pretty quickly. My Beardies LOVE their dubias especially when I'm thinning out the males in my colony. It's like a big crunchfest.

Crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, lol. I would just cut out the crickets and keep up with the roaches. When they get hungry enough they eat, And the feeding dish is a good idea too, thats what indo for mine, unless I just want to watch them run around like crazy chasing the roaches.

Ok. I will finish off the Crix and just offer dubia. How many should I offer in a bowl? She is 12.3" long nose to tail tip. She's on large Crix now so I have been offering nymphs

Dubia are great, my old beardie loves them and will actually eat them (a big deal for that picky dragon!) You could probably give her 3 or 4 and see how she does, our local herp shop feeds 6 in a sitting to their resident beardie.

Ok. Cool. Just came home for lunch and the 4 a left in the enclosure are gone. But there is diarrhea and water is all over the place. Could that be from the diet switch? Parasites? She is kept in a bleached tile 40 breeder. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/14/y9urybyj.jpg
