Good looking dog and nice rooster. Thanks for sharing. Brings back memories for me. When I was growing up we had a German Shorthaired Pointer. My Dad and I we used to go pheasant hunting all the time when in season.

Me too but my breed lost her job and now is a professional sleeper. She has a rough life. I do take her on the boat bass fishing but to date she has only turned out to be good at licking fish, barking at buoys, and being an anchor because she cant even swim.

I enjoyed pheasant hunting. Such a pretty bird.

Thanks! Actually, my dog found and flushed 4 birds for us... Her lame hunting partners (my dad and I!) only brought down 2.

You should see the look she gives us right after we miss! But hey, she's a lab. They don't hold much of a grudge!
