What combination would you blend with this stable?
    Hello good people.:)
Aside from the obvious Piebald pairing and the unfortunate Desert, what would you suggest for the best breeding with the BP's I have posted below?
I have done some research but I would like to get your input. I have an open stable for another critter as a 'wild card' so please give me your breeding pairs and if I was to buy another one what would you chose?
Thanks so much for your help!:gj:

    1.0 Piebald
    0.1 Piebald
    1.0 Caramel
    1.0 Jigsaw
    0.1 Bumblebee, het. VPI Ax
    0.1Axanthic
    1.0 Lesser
    0.1 Desert/Cinny/Mojo

I'd say get a visual male axanthic + some other gene, or a male multi-gene het axanthic to go with your visual girl and the bee het (although I prefer to avoid het x het since you can't be sure on the non-visual offspring). But the list differs from your signature, is the visual axanthic male or female?

    1.0 Piebald
    0.1 Piebald
    1.0 Caramel
    1.0 Jigsaw
    0.1 Bumblebee, het. VPI Ax
    0.1Axanthic
    1.0 Lesser

    - Pied x Pied
    - Lesser/Jigsaw x Axanthic
    - Lesser/Jigsaw x Bumble bee

    or

    - Caramel x Axanthic for double hets

    or

    - Pied x Axanthic for double hets (lightning pieds are sweet)

For your open slot, I suggest a morph het pied or morph het axanthic.

    Fun!!

    1.0 Piebald
    0.1 Piebald
    1.0 Caramel
    1.0 Jigsaw
    0.1 Bumblebee, het. VPI Ax
    0.1Axanthic
    1.0 Lesser
    0.1 Desert/Cinny/Mojo

    I would do:

    CarmelxPied
    LesserxDesert/cinny/mojo
    JigsawxAxanthic
    Piedxbee

Add what you want but personally I would hold back a whole bunch of the babies produced instead of adding. If I was really set on a new python I would pick a female ivory. YB is a must have in any collection!

I agree. Deserts are know to be infertile/having many breeding issues. I would not recommend breeding her.

Personally I'd breed the male pied to the female axanthic, the male Jigsaw to the female pied, the male lesser to the female bumblebee. Then I'd sell the female desert and pick up some enchis.

    But that's just me.

Unless you plan to keep them as pets, I'd start off by selling the desert and the caramel. Both due to known genetic issues. Next consideration is do you want to go with a double recessive project or an easier recessive project?

    I'd probably breed:
    Pied to pied
Pied to axanthic (alternative would be the jigsaw - male offspring could be bred back to the bumblebee and mother)
    Jigsaw & lesser to bumblebee

I would then move the lesser and holdback a lesser combo male if you hit one or trade up for a multiple gene lesser combo male.

I have no intention on breeding the Desert. Probably going to keep her as a pet only if I can cure her of her little nippy attitude.;)
