Yes, the markings towards the bottom of her tail are train tracks.

    Here's a really extreme example:

So is it parallel continuous dark lines on the sides? That's cool

Yes. It's rather common in het pied ball pythons. Some normals could have it too.

Is your girl het pied? Just because your girl has those markings doesn't mean she's het pied. I have a normal who has train tracks and she's 100% normal...nothing het about her.

@BHReptiles I have no idea what the genetics this little gurl poses (except pure evil) lol she's a striker that's how I got her. Not banking on her to be het I really wanted another normal female, figured you can't go wrong with at least two in your stable. My girlfriend has 4 het pied females and a visual male so I'll be able to prove her out but even if not it's cool

On the other hand I've also seen people prove out new lines of pieds by using wild caught animals that showed the pied markings. I've got a pair of het pieds that do NOT show the markings, but many of their offspring DO have the markings. It's one of those type of things where it's not a guarantee, but why not try it anyway?

Huh. That I wasn't aware of.

I'm not saying you shouldn't try it out...that that it's not uncommon for every normal with tracks to be het pied. I find myself to be horribly realistic sometimes.

I mean you get what you pay for but every now and then you can find luck
