Yes. It's rather common in het pied ball pythons. Some normals could have it too.

Is your girl het pied? Just because your girl has those markings doesn't mean she's het pied. I have a normal who has train tracks and she's 100% normal...nothing het about her.

On the other hand I've also seen people prove out new lines of pieds by using wild caught animals that showed the pied markings. I've got a pair of het pieds that do NOT show the markings, but many of their offspring DO have the markings. It's one of those type of things where it's not a guarantee, but why not try it anyway?

Huh. That I wasn't aware of.
I'm not saying you shouldn't try it out...that that it's not uncommon for every normal with tracks to be het pied. I find myself to be horribly realistic sometimes.
