Questions on Brooks King Snakes

Hello,
I am considering getting a brooks king snake, since I loved my California king snake, do the brooks grow just as big? Same personality as California's?

The Brooks' I had were mellower, easier to handle, and not such maniacs at feeding time. They were just a little bit thicker and heavier bodied, but about the same length as the Cal kings I had at the time.
