how do you go about euthenizing (is that spelled right?) your mice? you said Dry ice in a previous topic...so what exactly do you do? where can i get dry ice?

yeah just a tank to hold the mice a cup of water, and drop the dry ice in. bam instant gas chamber. easiest way. although i must give credit where credit is due... thanks bp.net :)
i get my dry ice at baskin robins. 2 bucks a lb. enough to kill 50 mice at once. i got over my fear of freezing mice next to my food, so i get a bunch at once.. kind of like heavens gate... ;)

Mice are easy to whack...if you do it hard enough they are out before they even know what hit them....rats are a whole different ball game though. I switched my bp over to f/t because I got so frustrated with hurting them a lot before they actually died...

that is why i went to dry ice, and killed many at once to avoid trips back and forth every week. i am going to try to find rats to feed them on their next feed. i am a bit squimish about slamming a mouse around, let alone a rat.
