    Shed coming?
Oliver has some dry skin on his head - I wonder if he's going to shed? I've also seen him soak in his water bowl for more than an hour - another shed clue? I've looked very closely, and don't see any obvious mites.

I've tried to attach a pic of what I see on top of his head.

    Shed coming?
Cloudy.....and he's dull looking. I noticed that he seemed dull compared to the other BP at the store.

Poor Oliver! The day that he comes home, we have major tank temp problems. Now he is most likely going to shed. And tomorrow is his next feeding! Poor little guy has had a difficult homecoming, lol.

    Re: Shed coming?
He is more in likely going into shed. Just keep the humidity up around 70 and it could take him up to 12 days to go through the shedding process.

maybe this can help you out some more.

That can be a sign of shed, mainly wait for his eyes,if they get blueish cloudy...neither of mine ever soak in there water bowl I'd think your humidity is poor and that's why he is soaking...

keep your humidity up to 70-80 consistently through his shed cycle. That's what I do,after wards ,I keep his humidity 50 on avg.
