Feeding went less than smoothly....

So I have good news, and not so good news.

My spider boy took his first rat (was feeding on mice) very well! My bee ate with no problem as usual and my new mojave male took with gusto!

Now, the not so good news. The lesser struck, missed and gave up (she's new so wasn't expecting miracles), the albino struck and also missed but she is deep in shed so I didn't really have high hopes and the het struck, missed and lost interest (she usually misses and gets it second time around, this time she wanted nothing to do with it!)

Not looking for advice as such (if you have any feel free to tell it, always willing to hear others opinions) this post is simply me talking about my 50% success rate tonight. :(

Try again next week, Hopefully it will be better!

No biggie ill have weeks where all 7 of my bps eat and other weeks where all but one dont eat

2 I am not shocked with at all, I know some go off food in shed and I did offer food to the new ones earlier (one ate, one didn't) as I was feeding my others and thought I'd give it a go. My het gs girl has me baffled as she was very interested and suddenly wanted nothing to do with it.

Don't worry about it it'll be better next time

Yea don't worry about it, it happens sometimes. When my adult female Lesser does the same thing I usually would leave the rat in with her and she will eat it over night. I still check in the morning just encase.

In other news albino struck twice and lost interest and my het girl wanted nothing to do with it so leaving them well alone until next feeding day. Feels like a triumph that another one ate. Think my issue with the lesser was that I was holding the rodent too high above her (which is how a lot of mine take) as soon as I lowered it she struck and coiled :)
