    Building a wooden enclosure
So, I am wanting to build a wooden enclosure for my anaconda. I want to use plywood, 2x4's, laminate for the bottom and some of the sides (for easy cleaning), plexi glass, and obviously a safe sealant (something safe for baby cribs for example). So, does anyone have any ideas or any tutorials on how to do this, I am going to make it a 6Ft vivarium, so I think the longest pieces of plywood are 8x4, so should I make it a 6x4x4 enclosure or stick to a 6x2x2?

    Any help will be appreciated!!!!

Depends on what your building it for. What size is the snake? For an adult green anaconda your going to need at least an 8x2x2. You can get away with a 6x2x2 for a little while but eventually you'll need to go up in size. A cage of that size is going to be very heavy and take up a lot of space. For the inside I used polycyclic to seal the cage. It's water based which is a must for the inside. I usually put on several coats.

OK cool, and its a yellow, which is why I chose 6 over 8 ft.
