    sick or shedding? anyone help!
    Hello all,
My name is Janine, I am a new BP owner and more importantly have never seen a true shed.
My Python is a spider morph and has been acting very hide-ish for about a week, and has a real pink belly& mouth-sluggish manner-and his eyes are funny. Im scared that he's sick but I also suspect that he is shedding because of all the useful information I've gathered from here.
Is it possible for a snake to take more than a few days to shed?
Also If anyone can just let me know how a proper shed is supposed to look like, Id be very happy.

    Can you post a picture?

Pink belly is often an indicator of an up coming shed. Eyes and body will go blue/cloudy then clear up again before actually shedding. The whole process can take a couple days before the snake finally sheds.

Just make sure your humidity up.

    Mr. Misha
Like satomi pointed out, a photo would be great but it sounds like your bp is in shed.
