    Hey, I saw that NERD has Alligators, Crocodiles & Caimans for sale.
    I was wondering how do you maintain such an animal.
    I can imagine you can't just keep them at home right?

    That depends on where you are, but in some places you can keep one legally. As I was growing up, there were two families within a few miles of me with small ponds and pet gators (one at each house). You really need to have a good, permanent setup to get one, and preferably a good deal of experience as well.

    I've got a buddy that has kept Caiman for almost 10 years now. They are definitley an animal not to take lightly. He has lost his ring finger on his left hand to a caiman bite about 7 years ago or so. Definitely something i dont want to keep ;)
