Yea if the OP were talking rats that's a total different thing. I was looking at the OP's collection and saw 4 females and was sure the OP was asking about snakes. Would be nice to have a clarification on this.

Well it is in the rat section ;). So I believe he's talking rats... and yes I believe the 12 weeks but it's better to hold off til 16
