Any ideas what this poor kinked snake is?

Any input? This thing lools severly kinked but the colors are beautiful. Its like a balls build but a corns pattern?:rolleye2:

I've never seen a snake that badly kinked before, it makes me wonder if it's able to move around properly.

That would be an Albino Burmese Python :rage::rage::rage:

Honestly, compared to some of the ball pythons with kinks posted here, that Burm's kink looks like no big deal in comparison. As long as it can eat, defecate, and function, then it should be fine. It doesn't look that bad to me. Certainly not major/life debilitating enough to euthanize imo.

nah that kink may not even be a kink TBH . . . But does no one else understand my rage? This is the kind of stuff that forces the hand of government to become more involved with the reptile hobby - uneducated, short interest span keepers who have no idea what they have in their cages!! I'm pretty sure that MOST if not all states have a permit system in place for the Burmese python, and should this guy try and sell it to someone on the other side of the border (Nevada) for instance . . . now we are dealing with a federal matter.

***edit*** Apparently CA is one of the few states you do not need a permit for giant constrictors . . . go figure!

It is frustrating. I still for the life of me can't figure out how a person can own an animal and not know what it is. You are correct you don't need a permit in CA for any giant constrictors that I am aware of, that being said I have never seen any of the giant guys for sale in chain pet stores, I do come across them in actual reptile shops, but they are very clearly labeled. This is just sad.

People get them off of places like this one is listed under . . . so and so's list . . .

Yeah, California actualyl has quite restrictive laws regarding venomous, and regarding crocadilians, but zero on pythons outside of federal protection. . .

frustrating. I was honestly suprised the first time I saw a both green and yellow anacondas for sale, I asked the guy at the shop if you needed a permit to own one and he said nope, thats when I started doing my research and was shocked at the animal laws here. You can get an anaconda, retic, burmese, but skunks and ferrets are illegal, go figure.
