    Carpet's Feeding Response
Hey guys, I've been thinking about getting a coastal carpet python for my collection but I wanted to know about their feeding responses....My BP is a total brat and will barely eat when I want her too, but my Boa eats f/t fine and is a great eater. Can anyone compare feeding a carpet with a ball?! thanks

Carpets are usually garbage disposals. I have a 75% coastal 25% jungle carpet and he will eat anything I put in front of him.

My coastal would eat everyday if I let her, she's a really good feeder. Sometimes too enthusiastic....

We only had one carpet that was a less than stellar feeder. Everyone else barely let their rats hit the floor. I miss our carpets... :(

So yeah, go for it! Carpets are amazing! Coastals get a nice size to them too while still remaining handle-able too.
