RI? What do you think?

I think my BP may have a RI. I took a couple pics of her open mouth and found some bubbles. Do you think this is a normal amount of bubbles or do you think its a RI? I do find her resting with her nose pointed up on occasion as well. I checked her again today and she has about the same amount of bubbles but possibly a bit more. It's hard to check her by myself because she puts up a big struggle.

Anyway, here are the pics, they are about 2 weeks old.

Not sure, I don't really know what to look for. Maybe take it to a vet?

its not just bubbles in the throat or mouth....does he/she wheeze when breathing? are the gums a healthy color? do you the BP mouth gaping (breathing with/thru a wide open mouth)??

Does it wheeze? Take it to he vet. If you catch it early it sould be ok. ine had RI and he was on a weeks course of antibiotics and he's fine now.

She has been wheezing her entire life (shes 2 yrs old) because of a nose passage deformity so its hard/impossible to tell the difference between normal wheezing and sick wheezing. Her gums seem normal to me and she doesn't breathe with her mouth totally open. However she does rest with her nose pointed near straight upwards which they usually do when they have RI's to drain the fluid down their throats. So I'm not really sure what to believe. A vet isnt an immidiate option right now, I live to far away.

One thing I look for is mucus on the side of the tubs. They will rub their mouths on the side of the tub and leave mucus marks. Other than the wheezing, look for a lot of bubbles or mucus coming out of their mouth. It will look sort of like they are slobbering. Sometimes it's a thick mucus, sometimes is a really runny mucus. To me the mouth looks fine in those pics. They also do a lot of open mouth breathing when it's really bad.

Should I just wait a while and keep a close eye on her then? I have been keeping an eye on the sides of the tank for a few weeks already but have not seen any mucus streaks. I did see her yawn today and have a mucus like bubble stretch from the top of her mouth to the bottom. Other then that, the only RI signs I see are the bubbles that are in the pics, and her resting with her nose pointed near vertical.

She also has not eaten in 4 weeks but that, of course, could just be from the time of year.

It sounds like you have several symptoms - yawning w/ mucus, resting with her head near-vertical, bubbles in her mouth, and off food (ok the last isn't unusual for a BP). I'd be making a vet appointment since it's been at least 2 weeks since you noticed the bubbles.
