    Need some suggestions/help !
So it's been a while since I've been on here, my little girl Cleo is doing great, I recently bought her a 4x2 PVC tank from Lighthouse. My only concern is I have a probe inside of the tank right above the heat tape, it is fastened to the side of the tank with about 6 inches of play, only every time she goes into that hide and moves around, the probe moves off the heat and I don't get an acurrate reading. So I need a way to secure it to the bottom of the tank, I don't want to have a screw right above the heat incase it heats up. I've thought about using hot glue or super glue? Any concerns with that? Thanks guys!
    Tyson.

Hot glue will work, just don't put any on the probe itself. Put a glob on the cord right before the probe to secure it. Don't use superglue.

If your UTH gets hot enough to melt the hot glue you have much bigger problems. You are regulating your UTH with a thermostat correct?
