    Expanding our Collection
We r looking to expand our collection with another herp of some sort or another. Anything that is easy and not hugely overpriced would be good. We r looking into milk snakes and cresties but have open minds.

    Boa constrictors

What exactly are you looking for? A breeder? display? handling?

Probably not the section for this.. but well price depends more than just the price of the animal. I can go buy a boa for fifty bucks, but it's going to cost me three to four hundred in caging. What I do is I go through the pictures in different sections on here till I find an animal I like. Then I look up the threads on here about their care via the search engine and caresheets. Then I google for more answers. After I have a good idea of the care and general animal facts I know whether it's something I can afford and/or want to have still. I love GTP but after reading on them I won't get one because I don't want to just look at an animal. I want to be able to handle it when I want to.

If you find an animal you like, do a bit of research on whether it meets your requirements/tastes, people are going to be ready and willing to answer further questions you have on that animal. Just asking broad stuff like this usually doesn't get a lot of help back since it's such a wide area to cover to answer what would be a good match. It's like when people ask for a complete breeding walk through. It's just way too much.
