    THG Heat tape
    Hi all,

Since I now have several ball pythons, I decided to invest in a rack system. I got my shipment in of THG Heat tape and was wondering, does the underside of the tape get just as hot as the top part of the tape? I would assume it does since the tape is thin. The reason I ask is because, my thermostat only has one connection. Therefore, I have to run all 10 feet of heat tape with the same connection. When I began to mount the heat tape to the rack I noticed that every other shelf if going to have the tape upside down. Just curious if this is okay and safe for the animal as well as my house. Thank you for the information.

It's fine. I run nothing but THG in my racks and love it. One of my racks is 10 levels tall and every level reads 91 on the hotspot right now when I shoot it with the temp gun... THG is upside down ever other level. Flexwatt is a whole different story... can't believe people are still buying that junk.
