What camera do you use?

I am in the market for a new camera for taking BP pictures, plus pictures of other things - maybe my dogs, for example. So I need a camera that will work great for BP pictures but also has other functions. What camera do you use? What do you think are the pros/cons of your camera? I have two professional speed lights, and something that'd work with those would be great. I have been looking online, but haven't found much helpful information and figured I'd come here. If you have some pictures you have taken with your camera, I would love to see them! Thank you!!

I use a Canon Rebel T3i. Absolutely love it. For family, snakes, outdoors. Search my history, I have a million pictures posted! :p

I have a Nikon D3100.
I love it. I've always had Canons or Nikons, so you can't go wrong with either.
Figuring out the settings can be a little tedious, but once you do, your photos will be so much better. Other than that, the D3100 is really easy to use.


My photos are all done with the stock lens. All unaltered raw photos straight from the camera.

Canon Rebel T3i here, and my boyfriend has a T3. They are both great cameras (but I prefer my t3i).

These are ones I took with my T3i. I'm still getting used to it, but I like it a lot.

But here is the kicker, I generally use 30 year old manual lenses. The combo is awesome.

I got a canon sx50 as part of a bonus last year. It's a $400 camera with a lot of functions. It has a real nice macro mode. One of the best things is it has a wide zoom range so you don't have to buy any lenses. The down side is it's not very tough if you like nature photography. It would be great for indoor a family shooting.
