humidity question

Purchased a new type of bedding today.

you and i know it as ecoearth, the substrate that comes in brick form. after you soak the brick
the product it creates is still quite damp. I think it might take hours for my humidity levels to go
back down for my ball pythons ecosystem. I have my power source set to its day time tempurature
of 90 degrees trying to dry it out, yet my humidity is hovering around 90%. I don't want to keep
little gomez in that type of humidity for long do I? what should i be doing.

On a side note he really seems to like it. I couldn't maintain humidity well with the last type of bedding
i had (which was called forest floor) needless to say he didn't shed in one piece this time and this has really
helped. BUT REGARDLESS i really don't think i want to keep him in there all night at that humidity.

Your thoughts are all appreciated.

Never buy the brick!! You really have to get it ready way before you plan on using it to let it dry out enough to put it in your enclosure, buy the bag next time, it comes perfectly!

I understand why now. creative suggestions anyone? I thought about removing my snake and all of his collection
Then blow drying the bedding to dry it out. other suggestions? thanks!

Those humidity levels are fine as long as there isn't a lot of condensation forming inside the cage.
