    Regurgitating
My Female Normal, every time she eats, regurgitates a white blob. Is this bad. I have never had this with any other snake so i was wondering if it is a problem. I am only feeding her two small mice and she is 1 because of this problem. This makes me hesitant to move to rats as i have been advised.

You are watching her regurgitate or you find a white blob in the tank later after she eats?

How big is she? How often are you feeding her? What are the temps in the enclosure?

she is three hundred and something grams, i feed her every week or two weeks if she docent take the mouse after a few hours (and leaving it in her enclosure) 24-30 degrees centigrade. (she hasnt shed for a few months and in the last 8 monthes has only shed twice or three times)

Are you sure the white blob isn't urates?

She isn't shedding much because you're not feeding her much from what I'm reading. At 300g she should be on something like weaned rats. A mouse every week or two is far too little for her.

At this stage in her life, you should be aiming for 10% to 15% of her weight in each meal. So for a 300g snake, 30g to 45g in each meal.

If I was responsible for her feeding, I'd be feeding her a weaned rat every 5 days. As she gets bigger increase the size of the food, at 500g drop off to feeding her once every 7 days.

    x 2

She won't shed because she's not getting enough food to grow. If she's on mice feed her once every 5 days for a little then try to switch to a rat... eyeball the prey... it should be equal to or a lil bigger than the widest part of your snake.

Take a pic of this white blob. It sounds like urates to me.

Urates and regurg smell way different. If you have other snakes you know what urates normally smell like. Regurg is just... blech. Like decomposing rat mixed with dog vomit. It will run you out of the room. So, are you seeing urates or regurg?
