Back from my little forum break
I had quite a bit going on with a really good friend that was killed from a motorcycle accident in July. I just so happened to be out of the country so I wasn't aware and I wasn't even able to say goodbye(he was on life support) or even able to attend the funeral. He was like a best friend/father to me and we used to spend a lot of time working on bikes together as well as riding together. So with dealing with the fact of not being able to say bye or see the funeral it just kept bothering me. Then on top of that last month a childhood friend passed away so I decided to lay low and stick to myself for awhile.

So while I'm back now I have a lot of chores to catch up on with being a homeowner, so I'll be back active, just not sure how much. I'm also getting another motorcycle, well technically it's already mine because I paid for it Friday, but it was storming and with the place I purchased being 2 hours North of me I wasn't about to drive it and be soaked the whole way home. It rained Saturday too so I wasn't able to pick it up then, not to mention my helmet and stuff doesn't come in until Wednesday. So sometime between Wednesday-Friday I'll be picking it up and from there I'll take some pictures of it. It's a 2011 ZX-10R with 831 miles on it. It was owned by a guy in his mid 30's and it's now at a dealership.

I hope you all haven't missed me too much :P

    That really sucks, sorry.

I just lost a friend in an accident too and slowed down my activity here as well.

At least you will have a new bike for therapy sessions. I also just got a new bike a month ago. Its a new 2013 Victory Vision Tour. It rides like a dream.

Yea, it sucks and sorry you lost your friend as well. BTW, nice bike though. I like cruisers but I don't like any enough to personally own one, with the exception of maybe the Honda Fury.

The new bike will help cheer me up though. It's my 4th street bike since I started riding 6ish years ago(though I rode dirt bikes as a kid). My first bike was an '04 ZX-12. Then I had a 01' GSX-R 1000 and after that I got a '07 ZX-10R. The only thing I don't like about this bike is the LED Digital Tachometer. I'll have to post pictures as soon as I get the bike to my house.

    Thanks.

Pics would be great. I have never been on a sport bike. I just know I would do something stupid. They just have more speed than I need. I ride like a grandpa.

I started riding on a Harley Sportster, then had a Harley Road King, then a Victory Kinpin Tour, and now my Vision. I added some board pegs and a backrest, its like riding down the road in a recliner. It also has hated seats and grips, cruise, and electronic adjustable windshield. I'm going to have this one a good while.

Welcome back, sorry about your friend.
A buddy of mine wiped out really, really bad and his fiance died recently, seems to be a thing going around.

Didnt miss a heck of a lot.
Quite a few people signed up and some are pretty chatty.

Here are some pics of my '07 I got rid of last year? Maybe the year before that?

That's good to know, hopefully I'll run into some of them.
