Mr. Darcy the transgender spider

I was just checking my males for sperm plugs, and had a fun discovery: it seems Mr. Darcy might actually be a Miss Darcy.

Looking back, I got him before I knew how to pop, and then just never thought to check him once I learned. I'm almost certain he's a girl. I'll have to rethink my plans now, but I'm not going to complain about another breeding size girl! :D

I think he's absolutely stunning. I love how bright he is and the extra bright stripe down his back... and I'll still be using male prononuns for him :D:snake:

I usually am not worried about checking males because I figure the breeder would have made sure it was a boy and not a girl. Otherwise they could have sold it as a female for more money.

I got her from an exotics stores booth at an expo-- she easily could have been mismarked by some random worker!

Dang. I sure wouldn't complain about finding out that spider was a she. Gorgeous!
