Any Need For A UTH When...

This is a dumb beginner question but I have 2 tanks right now and will soon be getting a rack system with heat tape and I have lamps on the tanks controlled by a tstat to keep the temps right so is there any need for a UTH if a have a proper bask spot and cool side?

no, as long as you provide a good bask spot, cool side with a temp gradient you should be just fine

Is the any NEED for one, no. There is a long discussion about which is better for the snake, most people prefer belly heat.
As long as you have temperatures right you'll be fine.

I'm gonna take the UTHs off. The lamps keep a good temp and I'll go back to belly heat when I get the rack next month. Thanks guys
