Weird

This girl has never done this. Temp is as usual, the whole room stats around 82 and about 79-80 in the enclosures. She's not dehydrated and humidity is always 55+. Obviously no mites. Any other suggestions? I've had her going on my 2nd year and she's never done it. I'm not alarmed as she's super healthy, just curious as to why a snake might soak other than the above reasons.

Sometimes they just want to. I know I have had some in the past that would soak every time they drank. She may have done this her entire life and you never noticed it due to the time of day she did it... If everything is spot on I would not worry about it at all honestly.

Its all in the personality of the snake. I have some that could care less that their is water and others that spend a a day or two a week trying to cram themselves into their bowls

Because she wanted a good soaking bath lol. Most women like to have a good soaking bath lol.

It could just feel like a secure place to sleep or hide? :)
Unless while she gets older and goes into shed she wants that little bit extra humidity, I'm not sure. Cute photo too.

Is she breeding age/weight? I have a couple girls that try to soak rather than bowl wrap.

I have one that soaks every night for a few hours... and she's perfectly healthy.

Not 100% sure, need to get me a battery for my scale. Last time I checked, she was around 900 grams, and that was like 6 months ago, so I guess its possible?
