    Big colubrids- list 'em !!
Well, most of my amateur-research (read: internet nerd) is usually about pythons and boas, but I'm trying to find some big colubrids out there. Not the longest, but which ones get generally big. Like, a good mix of both long and girthy/heavy. For what it's worth, I'd prefer Central American, South America, and Asian colubrids. I do know about cribos and indigos, but they're not my things. Tiger rats (Spilotes sp.) do get fairly long, but they're also rather thin.

Pay extra attention to skiploders post, that guy is a fountain of info.

    Failing that,

Taiwanese Beauties and Falsies seem to be right up there if Cribo's or Indigo aren't your thing. Russian Rats seem pretty cool to if not quite so large.

Pseustes can get long, but not girthy. Hydrodynastes and Clelia/Boiruna can get thick and long.

King rats can get long also. As can coluber jugularis (and other large coachwhips), elaphe quatuorlineata, ptyas mucousa and elaphe taeniura.

Still, if you are looking for length and girth, it's a cribo.
