    talk about a interesting day
Ok Yesterday my wife and I went to lower Delaware. I had figured I there was about 5 yard I had to grind up leaves for and my wife has not spent any time with my family since the wedding ( been busy working so much). I end up doing most of the yards and probably could of done the rest if my wife had the next day off too lol. I also stopped in to pick up my friends laptop that he has been having trouble with. He had an 5 year old ( still fast ) laptop that he used when driving a rig for movies. Recently he had issues with it like blue screens and the video card causing the system to power off suddenly ( like over heating). He had gone and purchased another laptop cause he always online doing stuff. and did not want to wait. HE had gone as far as doing a restore to the original setting ( factory ) and he issue was still going on, I told him I look at it when I came down and picked it up and found that the fan had come unplugged/loose and resulting to it over heating. and have not had a issue with it. ( he told me to keep it and work something out with him later for it .)
But the worst part of my day was realized once we got home and I was cleaning up from all the dust from grinding up leaves. my wedding ring had fallen off during the day and I never knew it until I was home scrubbing up. MY wife was understandably upset and I was too cause I never realized it had fallen off. We searched my truck, cloths and called almost everyone (but my grandmother due to her in bed and recovering from a broken hip.) I had no sleep last night due to trying to figure out were and when it had fallen off. I figured that with it cool out that my finger had reduce in size just enough that it fell off while grinding leaves. I was figuring we have to use the insurance plan to replace and we have not been married a year yet. This morning my grandmother calls me asking if I knew who JVL was her visiting nurse had found my ring by her front door, the JVL being were we purchased the rings from. I was so shocked that it was found in the only place I had not called ( I was counting it gone in someone's yard and would not be found. ) So we now need to get a ring guard. I don't think they make rings in quarter sizes lol. a 10 won't go over my knuckle and it appears a 10.5 is just a little too loose for my hand( most the time I need to use water to get the ring off( to scrub grease or callouses off ) but I rather go get a ring guard than another ring. I begin to think I better have it surgery attached to the bone lol
The part I find most annoying now is the fact I miss it on my hand lol.( I never was much for a jewelry man. Ican say my wife at least did enjoy herself with my redneck of a family.:rolleye2:

Amidst the numerous typos and grammar fluctuations, I don't know what all the talk of the yards was about, buuut I did get that you lost your wedding ring, but as luck would have it, someone found it for you. Congrats! :gj:

If it's precious metal (gold, silver, platinum, palladium) it can be sized to the quarter size. If it's an alternative metal (tungsten, titanium, cobalt, etc) it will depend on the manufacturer, but most of them do offer them in quarter sizes at an additional charge. You'll have to have the jeweler send your ring in for a replacement, alternative metals aren't actually sized they just remake them.

If you don't want to get it re-sized immediately try one of these http://www.riogrande.com/Search/ring-guard. They come in packs of six, but even the six packs of 14k are under $10.

yeah I have to have it replaced cause it tungsten. I think I just going t get a guard of some type . I know that I have already scratched it in a couple places ( I am just so hard on jewelry period). I should just have it imbedded into the finger joint so it will always be there lol.
