Difference between eastern and western hognose
Been looking into hognose and only really ever see western hognose. I saw a pic of an eastern hognose and it looked really cool it almost looked like a small cobra with the hood do easterns flare up like that too? Is there a reason that I only ever see western hognose in the pet stores are the eastern more of a pain to take care of?

If you want to go easterns I suggest first finding a steady supply of toads.

I do own an eastern. He is very hard to take care of. He only eats tree frogs and he is nothing like my western. Never bites though. Hoods up and hisses a lot.
