Re: Debating on projects.
See I get where you are coming from but personally I dislike cramming tons of genes into one snake just to have a powerhouse breeder is pointless. I prefer the simplistic looking animals that really pop. But at the same time I also do like the multigene recessives. I think a recessive combo has more potential than any codom/dom combo.
Re: Debating on projects.
I'm currently working in a few projects, with limited time and space, I can't do all the projects that I'd like to do, so I'm choosing to do a few real well. I'm going to be pursuing some Hypo and Pied stuff and mixing just a few of my favorite incomplete dominate genes into those projects. This will help me progress my biggest project, combining the Hypo and the Pied. My suggestion is not to go too wide, especially with recessives, because any time you want to bring a dominate or incomplete dominate gene in, you end up with a lot more animals.

so in order to continuously keep advancing your recessive projects, having the standart codominant and dominant morphs and combining them into multi-gene combos will be quite helpful.
Agree 100%. I love my plain old axanthic girl, but when she's sitting next to my pastel ax girl and the ax bee, guess where your eyes go first? There's definitely a point where you get too much going on aesthetically (IMO some of the "powerhouse" animals are kind of ugly), but by choosing wisely some of those codom and dominant genes can really enhance the recessives (like this little bugger http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/sunbeam).
