    2 babies together???
Can I house 2 hatchlings together in a 20 gal long tank, and if so for how long? I will definitely give them plenty of hides so they feel secure.

I'm just going to really what most will say...for the temp you can,but they shouldn't be housed together too long. They stress easily and are not social animals like that. They like to be on there own. As a short temp thing,I don't think it would be a problem.

    Temporarily yes... ideal... absolutely not.
    Why do you want to?

It's not that I want to. I got a crazy deal on a hatchling I've been wanting and couldn't pass it up, and I only have one rack that is filled up.

So how long are talking about keeping them together? How are you quarantining? Did both babies come from the same place?

Well there hatchlings,so go grab a small hide ( tup o ware and cut a entrance) and a heat lamp a 10 gallon tank and some bedding ,hygrometer and thermostat.. That can't cost any more than $40

You can temporarily house them together, but as soon as possible you should separate them. Also as seeing they are hatchlings, you should try to keep them in a smaller enclosure. Small spaces usually make a ball much more comfortable and less stress.

In the meantime, while they are being housed together be sure to feed them separately, you don't want to cause and more unneeded stress.

Say what? A thermostat alone is $40, heat mat $15, 10 gal tank about $20.....

What's the longest they should be housed together. I haven't put them together yet. Figured I'd check here first.
