Finish rinsing off of hide when washed
    Hey everyone,

So Im in the middle of changing my little guys substrate from aspen to eco earth. While rinsing off his bowl, hides, etc I noticed a white spot in the inside of his warm hide (the only 'good' hide), I let the water hit that spot once more and sure enough- the finish was rinsing away. I'm hoping it was just because the water was too hot. But should I not use this hide anymore? There are only 1-2 spots where it began rinsing away and they're rather small.. I don't have any other really dark hides for him, nor do I have much money to buy another...

    Thanks all!
    Dev

EDIT: So after trying to dry it a little bit the finish started wiping off more on the inside. Screw it, going to petco and getting them to replace it. In the mean time my little guy will just have to deal with semi-transluscent tupper ware

    + Shipping.

I can buy the supplies to make clay for about $8 and make several of my own hides if need be. I just wanted to know if this one was still suitable at all. I'm not using it at the moment so my guy only has one hide for the time being.

Definitely check this out NY if you haven't already... Pretty sweet, save ya some loot:

No problem. I was pretty stoked when I saw it too. That tutorial makes the possibilities limited only by ones creativity. Have fun
