    Hi all,

    new to this so please bare-with me, im in need of some help/advice with my 10 yr old royal python. only the past few weeks he has started to discharge a watery brownish sick that smells awful at best. he has become lethargic and now now about 6 days since he last fed, it seems to be only when handled that he does this??!! im baffled as to what it is, can some one please shed some light

    6 days isn't a lot? How often were you feeding him?
    What are your temps?
    Humidity?
    Substrate?
    Pictures of the setup and substance would also help largely.

    10 years old but you're new to this so the first questions are how long have you had the snake, what are the temps, conditions, etc, how often were you feeding before.

    Ball pythons are lethargic 100% of the time as far as I've experienced so that's not a shocker.

    Watery poop or just a constant discharge? I would say if everything else has been stable in the past and changed now suddenly that you could consider keeping a sample of this discharge and have it examined by a vet.
