Tank update

I dont have dollhouses so I compensate by fixing up Talis tank.

I hadnt been happy with her hot hide- it was too small but my other hide was in two pieces and had a bottom- I wasn't sure it'd get warm enough. I'd also acquired some wood and vines I wanted to put in as extra cover for her. The way I had them in initially made it hard to get to her water and looked messy so I redid it today and had the brain fart oh duh I can put her current cold hide as the hot and use the other as a cold. Derp. It should keep the ambient temperature well enough I just dont know if it would warm up her belly.
I like it much better now :) she checked it out and went to her cold hide. Shes been poking her head out every so often.

Also have a tali- I used her in a photo shoot and we discovered she likes trees.

I love the redecorated tank, it looks great! And Tali is gorgeous and growing so well! They grow up so fast! :)

She's been shooting up like a weed, although I think she's slowing down a bit which makes sense. I've had a few people tell me she's an early 2012 hatchling most likely, and petsmart was feeding her mouse fuzzies until I bought her and started feeding size appropriate prey- of course she'd grow quickly! She's still gaining quickly, but it's not like the first month where she doubled in weight and length almost. She sheds (and then poops about two days after- I've kept track!) about once a month, so she's still growing for sure.

That's so great! I'm so glad she's doing so well. It makes me so happy knowing that my care is making them grow and thrive properly and I bet you feel the same way! It's so much fun watching them grow into beautiful adults.
