I know its a normal, but is she worth keeping?
I'm in a bit of a tight spot in life and need to sell everything that I don't really 'need'. I was going to keep her just to use for simple pattern pairings but am re thinking. She was from a calico M x normal F and I think she carried a bit of moms pattern. Please let me know if you think I should hang on to her to see if there's anything more to her, or if shes just a nice looking normal. Thank you for taking the time, Its greatly appreciated.

I don't like to vote no when asked if it's 'worth keeping'. Ask yourself if she fits into your breeding program first. If she doesn't, don't keep her. If I had my choice all snakes would be 'worth keeping'.

She's pretty, but there's a chance that she's just a pretty normal. If you need the cash, you could sell her, but honestly, you may be better off rehoming one of your morphs, since they'll bring in a little more in the immediate future. A normal doesn't have the same value as some of the other snakes you have in your signature.

Just my two cents, I know having to part with parts of a collection due to tight finances is super-sucky no matter what.

Considering the females that you currently have, I would sell her if it's a matter of your personal well-being. She looks like a normal gal, which never hurts to have in your collection, but she's not bringing anything to the table, so to speak.

I keep every female I hatch. You can still hatch a multi thousand dollar bp from a normal. If you sell now that will be the final amount of money you will ever see from her

Looking at what you currently have in your collection, her blushing might be a good addition to your pastel or mojave genes. Not spectacular, but good. She appears to be fairly young from the pictures, so you would be holding on to her for a while before she is big enough to breed.

You can focus on your morph females for now, perhaps at a later date you might even find a larger, older female. Or just hold on to her, since normal females don't sell for much unless they are breeding size, and even then they only go for $100-$150 or so.

+1 Was thinking the same exact thing. They're all keepers if you ask me... But, then again, that wouldn't really be wise economically
