    Tub sizes
I was wondering what size of tubs everyone keeps there ball pythons in. Currently I keep hatchling up to 500g in 12 quarts. 500-1000g in 28 quarts and 1000+ in 40 guards. Does that sound about right?

    I've heard:
6 qt up to 300 grams
15 qt up to 700 grams
28 qt up to 1300 grams
    41qt for bigger.

    Just a basic outline.

    Sounds fine.

    I generally do:
    Hatchling - 6qt
    300-500 - 15 qt
    500-1000 - 28/32 qt
    2000+ - 41 qt

    You can always upgrade.
It's not a huge deal. Those are just guidelines, not the rule.

Some more sensitive snakes who are picky eaters may do better in a smaller tub, than being upgraded to a larger tub.
And some could probably go into a 32qt as a 200g snake and have no issues.
    It just varies between individuals

All in 37 quart tubs. All the way down to the 80 gram hatchlings (when I got them).
