New to Pythons advice on 1st Purchase.
Hello guys,
After careful consideration I have decided to take the leap into pyhtons and breeding. I have kept Bearded dragons and breeded them in the past so i am not by any means new to repltiles. I think all the different BP morphs are amazing and would like to eventually hatch some designer morphs like the ones already out there eg. Dreamsicle. I understand its a lenghty process but im looking forward to experiment with all the established base morphs. I have an opportunity to pick up either an albino male or female. but dont know which sex to choose. My next purchase would be a visual Pied of the opposite sex depending on the albino. I guess my question is what sex would be more beneficial for future breedings male or female Albino? Looking forward to hearing your suggestions.
Thanks.

Another question regarding the dreamsicles, now that were on that subject, do you have to breed a pied to a lavender/albino or can you still get a dream from a lavender to a pied/albino? does it matter? if im not mistaken it would take two generations for the dream to come out right? After the initial breeding you would breed one of the offspring back to one of the parents correct?
Thank you all for your quick replies.
Lavender albino is a just a different strain of Albino, it's a completely separate morph. Regular albinos don't play a role at all in making dreamsicles.
Buying Hets is all about trust. You have to find a breeder that you can trust is providing you with the genetics they say they are. A visual is the sure fire bet as there is no question of the genetics, but from a financial standpoint hets can be a much better deal. If you can get a 100% het snake then you only have a 50% chance of the genetics being passed on, and with 66% het or 50% gets there is a chance the the snake isn't carrying the genes at all.
