Ramona (bp) seems to go against the grain. She's my first ball python, so maybe I"m just unaware, but here she is in a nutshell:

    1. She loves to soak in her water dish.

    2. She's active during the day, when I'm at school with her, slithering around the cage, etc.

    3. She's a voracious eater, has never turned down food, even though I've only offered f/t, and i just switched from mice to rats.

Anyone else have a snake like this?

If your snake stays in the water for long periods, it means it "might" have mites/ticks.
Mine is active during the day also.

My snake was like that, except for the soaking all the time, that is a little odd.
My bp used to be active during the day, but once he got settled in (after about a month maybe?) he settled down and started using his hides more during the day and being active at night.
Norbert has also never turned down the meal including switching from f/t and to rats. Sounds like you've got a good eater too!
