Yeah, it looks like a rub. I'd personally keep an eye on it and maybe do a diluted Betadine swab to the area to see if it helps it heal.

What's Bernadine? Where do I get it?

You'll want to do a proportional mix to apply to the area-- 1 part betadine to 10 parts water is the most common. It's a harsh antiseptic, but an effective one.
