    Breeding temp drops
I was wondering who here drops their temps for breeding season? I've read a lot about sucess on both ends and I can't really make up my mind on what to do for my first season so I'd like to hear others who sucessfully did it before. Also if you do drops temps do you drop ambient or hot spot? I know some people do either or..

I drop my temps at night 365 days a year. I don't do a specific "extra" drop for the breeding season though.

What do you drop your temps to? Also is this hot spot or ambient?

I don't have hot spots, only ambient.

My day time temps are around 87 and my night time temps are around 85

I never drop my hot spots... Keep my room heated to 78 minimum... In the summer during the day the temperature may rise to 84 before the AC kicks on... Just feed them and breed them...

My snake room temp varies according to the season, it`s not regulated, I never drop my hot spots. They have the hot spot, and the cool spot in the front of the tub. Females always seek the cool spot during follicular development.

The only time I drop temps is when I know eggs are on the way. My hot side is usually about 90 degrees for the breeding females, ambient/cool side is 75 (never below). When I know eggs are on the way I drop the hot side to 88 because that's what my incubator is set at.
