    Egg question
I purchased a female pastel a few months back and woke up one day to 5 eggs. This is my first clutch. I wasn't expecting them so I had to leave them with her for a couple of days till I got everything set up. Maybe 3 or 4 days at most. I have them in a hovibator (I know not great but it's what I could get). Thermostat is set at 89 and egg bin has been between 87.5-89 the entire time but the incubator has been at 89. Have a probe in the egg box and another resting on it. Humidity has been 95-100%. Have them on hatch rite. I'm on day 54 and one egg is pretty sunken, other egg is just starting to dimple, and other 3 are still plump. All are still candling with nice veins and I can still see movement. The one egg that's sunken in was a bit deflated when I removed them from mom and never got as plump as the rest but has been this way for about the last 10 days. I'm concerned about the baby in that egg and wondering why the other 3 haven't started to dimple being so close to hatching. They aren't the prettiest eggs from what I have seen but so far they are all doing well. Found out she was paired with a spider last season but they didn't think it took. Really hoping for some bumblebees and want to do everything I can to make sure they are ok. I have pictures just not really sure how to post them since I'm new to the site. Thanks for any help and I will try to post the pics.

To post photos you have to host them through a site like photobucket and then post the link here on the "insert image"

If your temps have been swinging that much you probably still have a couple more weeks to wait

I can't get the link to post from my ipad. I will have to try from my laptop later. I was able to put some in my album on my profile. The temps were for the most part at about 89. I say the were 87 cause I saw them drop for maybe 2 hours like 3 times. Why would some still be plump and the other two dented?

I've had some eggs sink in way early in incubation, that was usually cause of too low humidity. Even after the humidity was corrected the egg just never filled out completly again, but still went on to hatch a healthy baby. Only thing is when the eggs start dimpling nearing hatching time, those eggs that were already dimpled do start to look rather concerning cause they are sinking in a lot more, and I usually end up cutting them first to make sure the baby has adequate space.
Also about some of the eggs staying completly plump, sometimes that happens and they don't dimple at all. Tho I've only got 2 clutches under my belt, I haven't had an issue with eggs that didn't dimple.

If you have an iPad just get the Tapatalk app. You can put the pics in the Cloud off your PC and bypass the photobucket thing.
