BP gained weight without eating?

So I have a snake that is currently off feed. This is the first time Ive experienced this so I made sure to keep track of his weight. His last meal was on September 1st and his next weigh in was on the 8th. He weighed 1223 grams. Today i weighed him and he is at 1240. I know its not a huge increase but how did he manage to GAIN weight without food?

How do you typically weigh your animals? Digital scale? Any variation in weighing him could add or subtract a few grams.

Maybe he just finished drinking a lot of water ;)

I may think it could be poop or maybe water retained, not really much of a weight gain, Thats just my guess.

I weigh him on a digital scale. He pooped about a week after he last ate.

probably has more to do with the margin of error on your scale.
