Are RTBs fragile?

Just wondering if they are easily injured. I heard somebody say its easy to break their ribs. Is this true?

I've found just the opposite. When you handle an adult Boa they are very solid. Their sides don't give much at all. I think being more muscular like that gives them alot of protection.

Yeah them biggens are very very tough. They will break your arm before you break a rib lol

Ok good to know. I was looking into getting one and just wanted to be sure. I hate how there are so many "facts" out there. Without ever having kept one myself i have to rely on the information of others.

No, I wouldn't say Boas are fragile. Not really even especially as babies. They are fairly hardy and robust. Having said that, you could possibly injure one if you handled it roughly and/or carelessly, but I don't think you are referring to something of that nature. But anyhow, they aren't fragile like baby GTPs or other more arboreal species may be. Even the babies are resilient and muscular. ;)

They are a solid snake my large female her body is like steel. Dont worry about it they are great pets.
