    Craigs List...not all bad!
I keep finding great deals on the Flint Craigs List recently. Tonight I picked up a 5 level melamine 28gt rack w/heat and tubs that looks new for $100. I've also got a 20g long w/lid, a Zoomed Crested gecko enclosure/kit, and an ASF colony. I'm hesitant to buy animals, but I sure do like scavenging supplies and feeders!

My experience is very similar - animals are hit or miss (mostly miss) but you can find screaming deals on the 4' long or bigger enclosures if you are willing to pick them up.

I wish I had that kind of luck. I got my beardie rescue from there, but until I have more freedom to do so all I can do is look at animals on my local listings. Right now there's a few critters on there that could use a hand, plus someone trying to move 3 "male 100%het pies" for twenty-five bucks a pop. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Some one was giving away a Greek tortoise with a Zoomed tortoise house recently on the Detroit list. I didn't get there fast enough, though. You better believe someone jumped on that quick!
