So I have ANOTHER feeding question (:
Nagini has been eating well! She took 3 pinkies on Thursday (finishing off the box of pinkies I had to get because the petstore was out of everything else). I was planning one feeding her tomorrow but she's active and alternating between moving all over the tank and smelling and staring at the screen lid, so I am going to feed her today instead of waiting until tomorrow. My question is how many mice fuzzies would she be able to eat? She's approximately 80 grams (I don't want to pull her out and weigh her because she looks like she's hunting haha). I'm wondering because if it was available I was going to get a box of mice fuzzies and rat pinkies (I've heard they are approximately the same size) and feed her a mouse followed by a rat, to try and get her switched as early as I can.
would she be able to eat 2 rodents that size?? Thanks!!

I would be feeding her a mouse AND a rat. Not one rodent.

She could easily take 3+ mouse fuzzies in one feeding or at least 2 rat pinkies in one feeding. Honestly I would jump right up to at least mouse weanlings/small adults or rat fuzzies/small pups and bypass the pinks. If you're wanting to switch from mice to rats I would buy a rat fuzz/pup and see if she'll take that: that way you don't need to worry about buying more mice.

I went to the petstore and they had mouse fuzzies, then next up was small rats. So I'll have to wait until she's bigger to get her on rats I guess /: she took two fuzzies and seemed to have a hard time swallowing the second one (it stayed in her throat for a while) so I'm gonna give her a day to rest and I'll try her with another fuzzy tomorrow. She's curled up in her hot hide now (went straight there after getting the 2nd fuzzy all the way down) so I don't want to disturb her if she's trying to rest and digest. Thanks so much!

Ok one more quick question: when she was eating something yellow got on her paper towel, I think it was probably some pee from the mouse (it was f/t but had some pee on it. I tried wiping it off but could have missed some). Can I pull the paper towel out without risking a regurg? She's not on it so I don't have to touch her but it is under her water bowl (which is under some driftwood) so I'd have to move a bunch of stuff to get it out

You are seriously going to need to find sizes in between I would start looking around now. What are you gonna feed up to 10 fuzzies per feeding?
