BCL "Zero" IN Canada or even USA.
I picked up a female BCL awhile back and am absolutely enamoured with her.
My question is, does anyone in Canada peferably or even the US have "Zero" longicauda's for sale.
If I wasn't so unsure of the risk to the animals I'd even consider bringing in a pair or 2 from Germany.
The patternless blue I expect will get better and better with age in these animals. I am just having a horrible time sourcing them here.
Re: BCL "Zero" IN Canada or even USA.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will look up their animals tomorrow.
I have to weigh other projects but, these critters are just so adorable and interactive I know I want to expand their exposure and presence here at home. Totally worth the CITES import fees if these people ship for price plus CITES fees without minimum order values.
Those and the insanely gorgeous Cherry Pastels you have. I would love to get those going here in Canada too although, I doubt I'll beat the bigger breeders to that one.
I had heard a rumour that Bob Clarke had his own line of BCL very similar to the Zeros but could find nothing on his site.
Your tips as always are very helpful, thank you.

Idk what the "zero line" is but bcl is available in Canada. I have one friend with a breeding pair and I've even seen them for sale in pet shops. Last fall there was a place in Hamilton that had at least a dozen babies for sale.

Thank you Jason. I will also consider wild type BCL's. They are just a snake I really like.
If you'd like to see a Zero follow this link.

Update on Zero's.
I have heard back from Germany and the breeding season seems to be going well. The price is not as yet set (they are waiting to see how many they produce) and, international shipping is available with a minimum order value of $6K US funds.
I have a sneaking suspicion it won't take much to meet that minimum.
This could seriously cut into acquiring new BP's or Carpets for a couple years.

Uh..... yeah..... :O
I really shouldn't be all that surprised. And in fact, that is less than it could be. The Raptor Boa (a new morph in BCI) is still at around 20K and F1 and F2 offspring are already here in the States.
