It almost sounds like the snake was a bit of a stowaway!

That is awesome. Losing a snake sucks. The moment you find them it's like a weight you didn't realize was holding you down is finally lifted! I'm assuming someone else who lives or is friends with the former turd roommate returned the guy to you? lol

So I live in Winchester, Va and there is a mom and pop sorta pet store...mostly specializes in reptiles, birds, fish....I have become good friends with the reptile guy there (we are about the same age and hit it off over snakes). What the former roommate didnt realize is that this guy and me are friends...I had mentioned my escapee when it happened and he had asked through out the summer about any updates....former roomie turned the snake in to the pet store this morning with express instructions not to give the snake back to me b/c apparently I neglect my animals (former roomie even showed pet store ppl my photo and gave them a solid description of me)...not realizing that me and the pet store staff (specifically snake dude) are all friends by this point. Pet store snake guy called me an hour after snake was dropped off with a "hey didnt you have an escaped snake this summer" phone conversation. Needless to say he was basically like get your butt here and get your snake lol....

Wow, what a vindictive person! To go through all that trouble just to spite you. I'd say he has a crush on you lol If you dislike a person so much, why devote so much of your time and energy to them? I don't get people :p Well who is laughing now?! Karma at its finest.

umm, so, did your roomate steal the snake?

or was it really a legitimate escape, your roomate found it first, and instead of telling you he tried to sell it without your knowledge?

really NOT NICE either way. and again it shows the importance of being well-connected, it reminds me of the two cases where groups of stolen snakes turned up because the perpetrators attempted to sell to someone who had heared what happened.

Its awesome you got your snake back. Its bad you had to deal with a jerk though. Good to have friends around that will help you out like the guy at the pet store did.

Wow, that is awesome! And talk about a roundabout way of getting your snake back! So how is the little guy after his adventure?

And, is your roommate still your roommate?
