    Snakesitters in NY Area??
    Hey guys!

I'm completely new to BP net - hello!
I just adopted my first ball python about 5 months ago. (His name is my username). He's been incredible so far, probably the least complicated and gentlest pet I've ever owned. Absolutely adore him and yes... the addiction has definitely set in. I will be purchasing another snake (possibly ball python/king snake) as my college graduation gift/apartment move-in gift to myself.

Unfortunately, I have a trip I need to go on for about two weeks this winter. I don't feel okay leaving him alone for a week because I worry about him living in his waste (if anyone has advice on how it WOULD be safe to leave him for ONE week, let me know!) My friends closest to me have never owned a snake so I'm not comfortable letting my baby stay with them that long. :/ I'm sure he'd be fine, but JUST in case...

I was hoping anyone here lives nearby or knows someone who does that could take in a ball from about December 22nd until January (specific date known after the plane ticket is purchased). It would only require spot cleans, water changes, and just glancing at the temperature every so often. Puzzles himself is the chillest little guy ever so I don't worry about aggression. =)

Any and all help/advice is very much appreciated!
    Thank you!
    Elsa

Right in NYC. But I'd be passing through Bergen County in NJ too.
