Has anyone ever done any business with Layne Labs for their frozen feeders? If so, was the product high quality and packaged well?

I have bought from them twice. Good quality rats and packaged well. I've got a mini freezer full of various sized rats from them.

I purchased my first frozen mice and rats from them at the NARBC conference in Anaheim. I have been a customer ever since. I have my latest order arriving in a day or so. Nothing else is even close in terms of quality or price.

I've purchased from them several times, quality was very good and packaging was very good, price was higher then I'm used to paying but I think that had more to do with the shipping costs from CA to MN

I purchase all of my feeders from them. They ship from CA to NY and they are still frozen and always impeccably packaged. I would recommend them.

How are the shipping charges to NY?

I use to use them quite a bit, really nice fresh rodents, and decent pricing - I could ultimately get cheaper rodents elsewhere of good quality, so I stopped using them, but not till after I had a very rough shipment where they did not properly affix the fedex lable onto my package, this caused the package to get "lost" with no destination, when fedex finally opened the package, they found dead rats and quickly destroyed the package (around a 472 USD shipment). Layne Labs was good to honor the mishap and refunded my order in full, but they did not have enough supply to refill the order, and I was forced to go elsewhere, and I have not been back since. . . if the price works for you though, they are a great company.

I paid around 60 dollars for shipping last time but I ordered almost 10lbs of feeders, for me its worth it.

Just for curiosity sake, I did a comparison today with the three places I usually order rodents from using 500 small rats for the order. The shipping charges from Layne Labs was almost 50% higher then the next most expensive shipper but were still only the 2nd highest price overall.
