    Camera Adjustment Results
    Hey all,

I took a few minutes this weekend to play with my camera settings. I wanted to move to a faster shutter speed since these guys are growing (or adults) and definitely don't want to sit still for a second like when they were little. I also think messing with the settings again was beneficial for color reproduction, which definitely makes me happy for the hypo stuff.

Anyways, here are some of the results. Thanks for looking! :gj:

Het Hypo (I used him this weekend as an intro to ball pythons for my fiance's friend. We may have a future herper on our hands because of this little guy. :D )

Pics are looking good, as are the snakes.
In the 1st photo personally I would prefer an increased depth of field. I like to see each scale clearly.

PS: Another BP.net user tipped me off to something I felt really dumb for not figuring out on my own.
With more active BP's besides having your equipment set-up in advance you can drop a hide on them and let them settle down a bit, pull off the hide and snap your pics before they decide they want to go exploring or to find another spot to hide.

Thanks! That's something I'm working on, and I believe I have the settings I want. I'll do that next time. :)

Unfortunately, my animals have smartened up to that little trick, and immediately crawl for the exit in the hide or book it immediately after I lift the hide. Thank you though. :)
