First clutch hatching...opinions needed
I'm out of town but left the live cam on. I see two hatched today. They are in a 6 quart tub sealed with press and lock with no ventilation holes. Temp is 89. Humidity is 93%. How long can they go with the air in there?
I don't fly in until Wednesday night. Will they suffocate before then?

Sounds like the egg box is sealed up really good. I'd be trying to find someone who could move them to tubs. Wednesday is quite a ways off...

^ this.
I worry that they may not have enough hair flow. I second the idea of having someone come over and at least remove the press-n-seal and ventilate the tub.

next time, late in incubation. 14 days out. put lid back on without press n seal and a few air holes in lid. humidity isn't as big of an issue late in incubation. I do it all the time and I'm not away from the eggs. get someone to go and make sure they can get fresh air. why chance it.

Ok they're in good shape now. A really good friend went by and changed out the top with a ventilated one.
Thanks for all the replies. I'll know better what to do next time.
